Netherlands Institute of International Relations (Clingendael)

Clingendael is the leading Dutch think-tank on international security affairs, with a specific focus on, CT and CVE. Clingendael is moreover the penholder of the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT)-The Hague, which is a joint project of Clingendael Institute, the T.M.C. Asser Institute and Leiden University. Clingendael contributes to ICCT in the research activities, policy advise and capacity-building activities on rule of law and prevention related topics of CT and CVE. Clingendael/ICCT in doing so, works closely with the European Union, the Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate of the Security Council of the United Nations, the Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force of the United Nations, the Organisation on Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Global Counter-Terrorism Forum (GCTF), of which the Administrative Unit is run by ICCT. Clingendael will be responsible for developing and implementing the research methodology and as the coordinator of the project, monitor the progress.
